Guidelines for cleaning Caesartsone worktops

*In most cases, soap and water or a mild detergent is enough to clean your Caesarstone worktops.

*If necessary, use a non-abrasive soft soap along with a non-scratch delicate scrub pad. Afterwards, thoroughly rinse the countertop with clean water to remove residue.

*If needed, apply non-abrasive household cleaners and rinse to remove residue.

*To remove adhered material on Caesarstone first scrape away excess with a plastic putty knife. Then use a damp cloth to remove any marks.

*For extra-stubborn stains you can use a non-scratch Scotch-Brite pad and a non-abrasive cleaner.

*You should not use sharp objects directly onto surfaces.

*Quartz worktops can be damaged by sudden and rapid temperature changes. Hot pots and pans shouldn’t be placed directly on Caesarstone. Hot pads or trivets cab be placed on the countertop under cooking units such as crock pots,or roaster ovens.

*You should not use sharp objects such as sharp knives or screw drivers directly onto Caesarstone worktops.

*Caesartone can be permanently damaged if exposed to strong chemicals and solvents. Never clean your worktops with products that contain Trichlorethane or Methylene chloride,. Avoid the use of highly aggressive cleaning agents on Caesartone, like oven cleaners and dishwasher polishers. Do not use products with a high alkaline/pH level (pH 8.5 or higher).  Products containing oils or powders may leave a residue and should be rinsed off thoroughly.

For extra-stubborn marks Caesarstone recommends Astonish cream cleaner.
