DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz worktops are tough, durable and beautiful. But they are not indestructible. Cleaning DuPont™ Zodiaq® *Some DuPont™ Zodiaq® colours with a honed finish are more sensitive to grease and fingerprints and need extra care in routine cleaning. *Although worktops will not easily chip, a cutting board is recommended. *DuPont™ Zodiaq® will withstand limited exposure to heat, but hot pots and pans should not be placed directly on the surface of worktops. *For sticky or dried on spills like gum, use a flat edged plastic scraper first. *Because DuPont™ Zodiaq® quartz is non-pourus, there is no need for polishing * For daily cleaning of your DuPont™ Zodiaq® surface, use a damp cloth and a small amount of non-bleach, non-abrasive household cleaner such as warm soapy water. Spills should be wiped up as soon as possible. *For stubborn spills use a chlorine free household spray cleaner. Leave for 30 to 60 seconds, rinse and dry. |

* Avoid dyes and chemical solvents like paint removers and battery fluid. If a spill occurs blot up immediately and rinse the surface with water. Clean repeatedly with warm soapy water to neutralise.
* For spills and stains leave a kitchen spray on the worktop for 30 seconds and then rinse and dry. For more serious marks you can use a wet, grey or maroon ‘scotchbrite’ pad and ‘astonish’ compound cleaner. Use a large circular motion and clean the whole worktop at the same time.
*Quartz worktops are resistant to most household cleaners and chemicals, however certain harsh chemicals such as iodine solution or drain unblocker can damage surfaces and should be repeatedly blotted up, and rinsed with warm soapy water.
